Dating advice for once I've moved out after living with my boyfriend(we're still together) of one year?

My boyfriend and I have lived together for almost a year, and actually have lived together since we met in person after talking for about a month online. Now we've decided that it would be best for us if we didn't live together and we tried dating, seeing as it's a huge step and we skipped it. My question is, how do we do that? I never really dated anyone much and he and I have been together for so long that dating will be different than normal I'm sure, so any advice, tips, suggestions? Thanks.
