Im confused about my hair!?

Me and my friend are having dip dyed hair, on the dip bit one of us wants red and the other purple. But we don't know which colour to have all out hair!! were wanting the same colour but if not it don't matter. My pictures on here, so you know what i look like...but my friend is the ame skin colour but with lots a freckles (shes ginger/auburn at the moment) and we have the same colour eyes. what colour should we go? and who should have the red and who should have the purple? we want normal colours like blonde or brown and stuff. thanks! x x x x x
