Legal Polish Adult Living In The UK?

I'm 15 and I live in Scotland. I'm Polish. In Poland, you become an adult when you're 18 but in Scotland it's 16. I stayed here for nearly 5 years. When I turn 16, am I going to be an adult or do i need to wait 'till I'm 18? It's really important! Any answers appreciated.
