Help with this girl please?

So there's this girl who i REALLY like, and im always complimenting her and stuff, we're pretty close friends and everything. she knows how much i like her. and last saturday she told me that she likes me back, i was so happy it was amazing. :) then we didnt really talk for a few days, and one day she ame to me with some problems, i tried to help out and then she said she had to tell me something but didnt want to hurt me. i already knew from the days before that she didnt really like me. so she said how she only said she liked me because of the nice things i say and how she felt like dying she felt so bad about it. i said i was okay with it and all. :( but now it's been a week, and we've only had 2 conversations, both over text, and i see her everyday in person too. it's just really awkward because she wont initiate any conversations anymore. so my question is, what's going on here? and what can i do to make it better? thanks. :) oh and btw she's mormon and cant date until she's 16, she's 15 now. and i almost forgot, but another weird thing is that she was supposed to come over to my house to hang out last friday but "her mom wouldnt let her go" not sure if that's true or if she feels too weird. :\
