Is it weird that I am 27 and have a 13 year old?

Kamil and I are not yet married, but a few years ago took in (a family member) a 9 year old (now 13) from Poland. Roman is a sweetheart and we love him and he loves us, but his friends give him crap about us being in our 20s. We actually had a parent complain. So what do you think? Too young?
